This is what Nia keeps so it can introduce people. Chevron Digital operates Nia.
What we keep
- Your WhatsApp number, and the name you give us.
- What you need done, the town or suburb, and the messages required to match.
- A bio and notes you choose to put on your profile.
- Email and password if you create a web Login.
- Identity-check details, handled by the verification provider, if you choose to get verified.
Why
We use this to introduce people, run the desk, and keep Nia safe. We do not sell your information.
Who sees a phone number
A phone number is shared only after that person has agreed to be introduced. Someone still hidden has not agreed, so their number is not shown.
Private networks
A host can upload a guest list for a closed network. Only digests of phone numbers and emails are stored. The raw list stays in the browser.
The chat itself is carried by WhatsApp. Their rules apply to messages on that service.
Asking us
Message Nia on WhatsApp to correct your profile or ask us to pause your access. The Terms and Community Guidelines explain how access can also be paused.
